John Azzopardi
Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, CNS, MSN, RN
John brings over two decades of clinical experience to his private practice, working with people across the adult lifespan, from young adults to seniors, who are seeking greater clarity, emotional balance, and meaningful change.
He draws from both psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral approaches, tailoring his work to each person’s unique strengths and goals. With a strong foundation in psychopharmacology from his years in medical and psychiatric care, John offers thoughtful support around medication questions when appropriate, always centered on what’s in the best interest of the individual.
Before establishing his private practice, John spent 20 years at NYU Langone Health, where he worked in medical, psychiatric, and oncology settings…experiences that deepened his clinical insight and compassionate approach. This background helps him hold complex emotional and life challenges with empathy while helping clients build understanding, resilience, and a greater sense of agency in their lives.

Victoria Azzopardi
Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, LCSW
Victoria is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults, adolescents, couples, and families navigating a wide range of emotional, relational, and psychiatric concerns, as well as life transitions and questions of identity and meaning. Her approach is thoughtful, relational, and collaborative, with an emphasis on creating a space where clients feel deeply heard and understood.
Victoria’s work is grounded in psychodynamic therapy, with integrated components of Buddhist psychology and mindfulness-based practices. She supports clients in developing greater awareness of emotional patterns, cultivating self-compassion, and building the capacity to respond — rather than react — to internal and external stressors. Therapy is paced carefully and tailored to each individual’s needs, strengths, and goals.
Before entering private practice, Victoria spent over a decade at Mount Sinai Hospital in the Department of Psychiatry, where she worked in complex medical and mental health settings. This experience shaped her ability to sit with intense emotions, uncertainty, and change while maintaining a grounded, steady presence. She brings this depth and clinical insight into her private practice, supporting clients through both acute challenges and longer-term personal growth with care and intention.
